This semester (Spring 2009), I am teaching Optics as well as the second semester of the introductory Physics lab. While the main documentation for these courses is on a website that Agnes Scott students must log into, there is some information about these and other courses taught at Agnes Scott on the Physics Webpage. I have also included sample syllabi for recently taught courses under the Teaching tab of these webpages.
My research interests include a variety of applications in optics. I am currently working on an Optical Diffraction Tomography system for imaging volume phase objects with good resolution and a high signal to noise ratio.
When not teaching physics or playing with lasers, I can be found rock climbing, knitting, and traveling.
